Want to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for the evening? This trip will take you to the magical rocky desert, located 30km to the south of Marrakech. The Agafay desert covers several hundred hectares. The landscapes are impressive with rock dunes (not sand dunes!) and a breathtaking view of the mountains during the winter.
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech around 4pm, and your private driver will take you to the Agafay desert. On arrival, you will be greeted with traditional Moroccan tea before embarking on your 1 hour camel riding adventure.
After your camel ride, you will enjoy a spectacular dinner show in the camp, with traditional music, dancing and fire breathing!
A perfect way to experience the desert if you have a short time in Morocco and can’t travel down to the big Sahara.
