Itinerary

This itinerary gives you a flavor of the trip, however all our trips are custom designed, so once you get in touch with us, we can make any additions or adjustments based on your dream itinerary!

Your private driver will pick you up from the airport today and take you to your locally owned riad in the magical medina of Marrakech.

Founded in the 11th century and renowned for its treasure trove of mosques, palaces, and museums, Marrakesh is the most visited of Morocco’s four Imperial Cities. At its heart is the medina, the original walled settlement around which the rest of the city was built. A maze of narrow streets and magical souks, its cobblestone streets are traversed by pedestrians and donkey carts instead of cars, and have changed very little in the hundreds of years since they were first laid out. Feel like you have stepped back in time!

Depending on your arrival time you may either wish to relax this afternoon on your riad’s terrace, or wander around the souks and Jma al Fna this evening. Everything comes to life at nighttime in Marrakech.

Overnight in locally owned riad near the square

Discover the heart of Marrakech on our immersive private half-day walking tour. Your expert local guide will meet you at your riad after breakfast at 9.30am, before leading you through the city’s vibrant history and culture. Visit iconic landmarks like the majestic Koutoubia Minaret and the historic Ben Youssef Quranic School. Wander the winding alleys of the medina, where you’ll see skilled artisans at work, and end your journey at the lively Jamaa El Fna Square – Marrakech’s unforgettable cultural hub.

We recommend lunch in the old medina. This afternoon, take part in a pottery class with a local artisan. Learn centuries old techniques and fascinating stories about North Africa’s connection with ceramics!

Your private driver will pick you up this morning to take you to the Majorelle Gardens. Strolling through the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech feels like stepping into a living painting. Deep cobalt blues contrasted with vibrant greens as towering palms and exotic plants created pockets of shade along winding paths. A tranquil escape from the energy of the city – a perfect blend of art, nature, and Moroccan charm. After your visit, return to the medina with your driver.

We recommend having lunch in the medina, before heading back to your riad and getting ready for your Agafay desert experience. Just 30km south of Marrakech lies the stunning Agafay Desert—a rocky, moon-like landscape with sweeping views of the Atlas Mountains. Pickup from your riad, followed by a scenic drive with your private driver.

Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional Moroccan tea before gearing up and hitting the rocky trails for an exhilarating ride through dramatic desert landscapes with stunning views of the mountains. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just looking for a unique way to explore Morocco’s wild side, this is the perfect escape from the city.

After your quad adventure, you’ll enjoy a one-hour camel ride through the dramatic terrain. As the sun sets, settle into the camp for a spectacular dinner show featuring live music, dancing, and fire-breathing performances.

Discover the Heart of Rural Morocco: A Day in the Atlas Mountains
Pickup from your riad by your driver and Youssra, our mountain guide.

Step far beyond the tourist trail and into the heart of Amazigh (Berber) life with this unforgettable day in the High Atlas Mountains. Just 65km from Marrakech, yet a world away, this immersive experience offers a rare opportunity to connect with a remote village community that few visitors ever see.

Accompanied by a local guide – an inspiring young woman who was the first in her village to finish high school – you’ll journey by 4×4 through stunning mountain landscapes to her family home, where you’ll be welcomed with traditional tea and warm hospitality.

From there, venture deeper into the Azzaden Valley, near majestic Mount Toubkal, and settle into a peaceful mountain lodge. Take part in a hands-on cooking class with village women, learning how to prepare authentic Moroccan tagine and salad. After lunch, explore the village on foot, visit local fields and rivers, and learn to make tannourt, traditional Amazigh bread, in the home of a local woman.

This is more than just a day trip—it’s a meaningful cultural exchange. Every part of the experience is rooted in and run by the community: from your guide and driver to the cooks and host families. By joining, you’re directly supporting education, women’s empowerment, and sustainable rural tourism in the Atlas Mountains.

Overnight in a stunning mountain property with panoramic mountain views and an outdoor swimming pool.

After breakfast today we will set off for Essaouira. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and white-washed walls, Essaouira is known as Morocco’s ‘Jewel of the Atlantic.’

‘The Windy City’ attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affected much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. The medina is calm and laid back, and perfect for strolling around and seeing the local handicrafts.

Essaouira is also famous for its seafood, and we recommend trying lunch in the market, where you select your fish and seafood from the market and watch it get grilled in front of you.

Overnight in Essaouira.

Today is a day at your leisure in this laid back beach town. You may wish to walk to the beach (5 minutes from your riad), try a surf lesson, or take part in an argan oil making workshop.

We also offer a walking food tour of Essaouria if you’d like some guidance finding the best hidden spots for fish, seafood and local street food around the medina and port!

After breakfast today, your private driver will transfer you to Marrakech airport, where your Moroccan journey ends!
